The Organic Tea Tree Shampoo is a refreshing and invigorating choice for hair care. Infused with natural tea tree oil, it offers a soothing sensation and a pleasant scent. This shampoo effectively cleanses the scalp, leaving hair feeling revitalized and clean. Its organic ingredients make it a gentle option, suitable for daily use. While some may find the scent strong, its cleansing properties make it a great choice for those seeking a natural and rejuvenating hair care experience.

I had been interested to try the Dr Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Shampoo since having tried the deodorant of the same brand but was originally put off by the expensive price and the fact Amazon wouldn’t let me buy the shampoo unless I bought two. I have no problem buying two but I want to know if I like something first! One day I decided I’d just try it though as I’ve been looking for a shampoo with less chemicals and more natural ingredients for a while.
At 265ml it is a good size bottle and seems to last me a while as you don’t need too much of the shampoo each use. It is quite runny though so sometimes it is hard to keep hold of it without losing it!
Once opened you can smell the lemon scent from the bottle. This initially surprised me but then I remembered this is what the deodorant smells like too. It seems the whole coconut range of Dr Organic smells nothing like coconut. My mum used this once as she wanted to try and she also confirmed she couldn’t smell any coconut, only citrus.
The shampoo lathers and washes off well but the lemon smell can be a bit overpowering at this point. Strangely, I did find my hair dried quicker when using this shampoo but maybe I’m imagining this! The scent of the shampoo doesn’t last long at all. Once my hair was dried I could barely smell the shampoo and at the end of the day I definitely couldn’t smell it at all.
Overall i’m not sure I think much of this shampoo. It hasn’t left my hair feelings it’s best and after not long at all (often a day or less later) my hair looks dull and almost greasy looking. When using my previous shampoo my hair would stay shiny and some strands appeared to sparkle a bronze like colour but I don’t get this at all with this shampoo. This is disappointing as I have found the deodorant from this brand to be very good. I guess I’ll continue my hunt to find a natural shampoo that doesn’t leave my hair looking dull!

I use this shampoo on my dreadlocks and it leaves my hair smelling fresh. No chemicals in the bottle. Just what I needed.

For quite some time now I use Dr Organic, Organic Coffee Anti-Dandruff shampoo and conditioner – as I have psoriasis on my scalp, which comes onto my forehead, temples, and eyelids. It actually smells of mint, not coffee, and is the consistency of other leading and competing brands of shampoo and conditioner.
Thankfully, it was only due to a rebranding of the packaging that I couldn’t buy this product bought in my local branch of Holland and Barrett, as order in store; thus amazon.co.uk to the rescue. I’m relieved that these products have not been discontinued. Phewingtons.
If used properly, shampoo on the scalp and skin, conditioner on two thirds to three quarters of the hair (not the roots) – as instructed by a qualified and experienced hairdresser, this product helps to maintain a flake free reality (and, unlike the Dr Organic, Organic Manuka honey shampoo and conditioner, that I had to stop using before the psoriasis, due to the thick and gloopy texture being too heavy for my fine hair, this product does not weigh my barnet down).????☀️????
