So it just arrived and I had a little test. It’s like a very very thin serum. Doesn’t leave skin too sticky and takes away the dryness after cleanse, pre moisturise. On first try, it doesn’t feel like an essential, more like a nice little skincare step that makes you feel a bit boujie. Which is nice.
Not expensive, simple ingredients. Jury not fully in yet, but looking promising.

I purchased this as part of the entire calm & restore range due to skin changes caused by peri. Was hoping it would calm my sensitive and irritated skin which was getting dry in places.
I’d describe this toner as less on the watery side, and more on the viscous, in texture. It tends to either slide off the cotton pad, or get sucked back into the bottle if you don’t apply enough pressure. Slightly tricky.
Once on the skin (after it’s cleansed and washed) it sinks right in, no sticky residue. Leaves skin feeling a little tight, clean and fresh. Not sure if I noticed stinging…will edit this review with an update in due course. I tend only to use in the evening.
Have only just started using this but will see how I go with it. Overall not bad, but not convinced it’s a necessary step after cleanse and wash.

This is great I like the way my skin looks & feels after using it I have to be careful what I put on my face as I have sensitive skin but no problem with this no stinging no burning very pleased.

I always like to use a toner after micellar water at night as a) somehow it always gets a tiny last hidden bit of make up off and b) it just feels nice, if I get the right one, for my quite sensitive skin. I tried this toner as it seemed gentle and I liked the ingredients. The texture is more viscose than others I’ve used, almost rolling off the cotton pad rather than soaking into it. The texture made my heart sink as I hate residue, but there’s not. It’s almost calming to the skin and takes any last trace of make-up, grime or oil away. It just leaves my skin feeling fresh and comfortable and looking happy too.
I only didn’t give it 5 stars because I’ve been spoilt by a ‘glow-giving’ toner 4× the price. But it’s ideal for my skin and a thumbs up from me.
