When I ordered this there was one great review and one bad review so I took the risk as it was the 1/3 of the price of most of the other ones and bulldog is a recognisable brand. It’s ok. It’s not a very strong hold and wouldn’t really call it a styling clay as it just adds a bit of texture. It’s not awful though, smells a bit rank – like a medical cream or sudocrem. You also need to use quite a lot for it to actually take hold. Again you get what you pay for.

Warmed between fingers push through hair for a scruffy look.

I saw this was on offer and a lot cheaper than my usual go to styling clay. Really poor hold and have to use a lot of product to get the desired texture, even then the hold falls down.

Have used Vo5 matte clay for a long time
Switched to bulldog due to animal testing credentials and liking their beard and moisturiser products
This isn’t green clay
It’s very runny. Does give a good hold. But more like a gel. And leaves hair clumpy and sticky towards the end of the day
Think Vo5 is better aside from animal testing
Will be looking for another product to try

The product itself is great when buying from a store, but the one from Amazon came all dried up. It must have been left for ages in their warehouse not stored properly. My flatmate had the exact same experience with Amazon for this one.
