I was really excited to purchase this because I thought that my search for the perfect, very natural looking blush for every day wear was over.
Also, I must admit that the packaging and look of this blusher looked really luxurious to me and I imagined myself pulling it out of my handbag much to the envy of my friends.
Back to reality.
The packaging is luxurious, I like it. The outer shade is a satin light peachy brown and the shade in the middle is kind of a matte muted terracotta and both colours look good in the pan. However when I applied this to my cheeks using the RT blusher brush, it looked like dark peach with an almost orangey look on me. My skin tone is NC20. The longevity of this is good. It was only when I returned from lunch with my friends that I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and saw that I looked like the clown from ‘IT’ – minus the large buttons on the clownsuit.
Also explains the rather ‘snidey’ looks on the faces of my ‘ex’ friends 🙂
