It’s about 30 years since I was introduced to Cliniques ‘3 Step Skin Care Routine’ (soap, clarifying lotion then dramatically different moisturiser).
Over the years my skin has become sensitive so I cannot use their products for steps 1 & 2 and use Avene instead, however I still use their moisturiser.
It feels silky, not at all greasy, absorbs quickly into my skin and provides comfort when my skin is feeling more sensitive/irritated.
The pump dispenser ensures the right amount comes out each time.
I read a lot of the negative reviews about this being a fake product as it is so cheap compared to the shops – I have compared the colour and consistency to my existing moisturiser (brought directly from Clinique) and they are a match. So I am happy.

I have been using Clinique moisturiser for 20 years and it suits me as I am allergic to other products. Please do not change the formula. Please try not to make the product too expensive.

On trying a tester in boots and receiving this moisturizer, the boots version is more oily and sinks in quite slowly whereas the Amazon order seems to absorb a little too quickly. While applying to face it also creates a white caste that feels like you’re rubbing in dry soap. That’s the best way to describe it. It takes longer to apply and sink in that the Boots version. I’ve had both now and will stick to Boots.

I love this moisturiser, it’s light so doesn’t leave your skin oily but still moisturises really well, even with a dry/oily T zone. You only need to use a small amount (I use 1/2 pumps a time) so a bottle this size lasts forever which makes it good value for money. I also like how it comes in a bottle with a pump rather than a tub you put your fingers in as it’s more hygienic.
