I don’t wear foundation, basically because I don’t have a clue what colour I need. I do however use corrector and concealer in ever increasing quantities due to poor health. I used my fingers before and always felt it just sat on my skin despite trying to blend it in. The skin under my eyes is very fragile, akin to scrunched up tissue paper and it gets sore if I fiddle with that area too much. I’d tried concealer in various guises, including a stick, which was far too hard to use on a delicate area even after I’d warmed it on my fingers.
I thought I’d give sponges a go after watching some tutorials online. I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to work out which sponge would be best and eventually chose these as I was losing the will to live.
I dampened a sponge and did a few strokes with the corrector and then the stick concealer. I was very sceptical. To my surprise it worked really well and better still the fragile under eye skin wasn’t being dragged all over the place. The concealer blended in well too. I read that some people find they lose a lot of product in the sponge, but I just used a bit at a time, topping it up if required.
The products I use are high end and most are brilliant, but the corrector and concealer simply made things worse. The irony of products costing a relatively large amount of money working well because of a sponge costing £1 isn’t lost on me!

Beautiful color sponges with proper seal container. Soft 4pcs sponge. Just a minor thing, one of the sponges is a bit dirty on the tip side.

These are great value for money and work well. However if you have used real techniques unfortunately this won’t compare but it’s a great alternative and worth the cash! Can’t complain£l!

I have never used beauty blenders before but have used these for a week. Was slightly worried about the other reviews but went for it as these are a good price. So far I have found that these blenders are fairly good at what they are supposed to do. I generally use 3 different foundation’s Estée Lauder double wear, Mac Fluid and Vichy dermablend. I have found the application of all three (not at the same time) goes on lovely. However I have found that by mid afternoon my face is blotchy and I’m having to re-apply which I’ve never had to do before. I was disappointed especially as with the double wear (which really does stay put) is usually applied with fingers so was quite let down. Perhaps I need more practice with these. Easy to wash and plumps back to normal shape. Might move on to a branded blender in future but lovely as a beginner set

These cane packaged in a great reusable clear case and to be fair for the price, are good. I only used two for a wedding make, but found whilst one sponge regained shape and retained a level of structure, the second as you can see in the photo was weirdly wrinkled and won’t ‘pop’ out again..made me chuckle tbh..But very strange, it also had a memory foam feel to it and when damp felt extremely malleable but not in a good way. Mixed thoughts on these..
