The brush does not get as hot as I think it should, setting 1 very inadequate . Setting 2 not effective enough .

There are 2 settings and off in the middle . Not a very good idea .

I like the narrow barrel & quickly got used to not touching the barrel while hot. However it is very easy to knock the switch off while using & then wonder why it’s not curling! It’s a slide button. This needs to have a different design in my opinion.

I have used a Hair Tools hot brush for several years. This is my third one so far but is being kept as a spare for now (my hair is very difficult to style and I am paranoid that I wouldn’t be able to do anything with it if my current one broke and left me without one). They do last a long time and work well. The only gripe is that the switch for regulating which setting is used can be easily moved to OFF which is not what you want when in a hurry, for example. I avoid this happening by sellotaping it in place as I only use the high setting. Still better than others I have used, though, hence the 5 stars in spite of the switch. I know what I’m getting with this particular brand and it suits me and my hair very well.

this is a replacement for the same size brush which has worn out. This one is not quite so comfortable, and tends to scratch my scalp, if I am not careful. It is a good hot brush otherwise.
