I was looking for a mirror a bit bigger than a compact mirror and ordered this. It is the right size and the handle is versatile so you can hold it or bend it so it sits on a surface – would totally recommend

This mirror is of reasonable quality, magnification is ok but seems affected by size of mirror. It does stand well and is useful but feel it would have been better to have chosen a slightly larger one for everyday use.

I had a 10x mirror from Boots which was no longer strong enough for me to do my eye makeup. For me this is excellent, I just wish it was a bit bigger. I did wonder if the bad reviews were from people with good eyesight and the 15x just isn’t effective for them. It is ideal if your eyesight is poor. I need reading glasses of +2.75 strength and I find this mirror perfect to view my face without glasses on and it doesn’t need to be too close. I haven’t had a problem yet with the stand going loose as in some reviews, I’ve used mine for about 3 months now and there is a screw in the joint of the stand so I’m assuming it can be tightened there but not sure.
