My hairdresser reccommended Ash Ash for stopping my hair being so orange when lightening (natural dark brown) I had been lightening it to avoid greys showing against the darkness. And my other dyes left it too orange toned. This comes out for me a darkest auburn which I like. It comes with the blue conditioner which is good but messy in the shower, best over sink. It does rinse off the tiles easily though.

I bleached my hair when Instarted to go white and ruined my hair – toners made my hair worse coming out pink – I put this in to conceal that pink and it worked a treat – now use it regularly – I have tried another product and the colour came out too orangy as it faded- also didn’t do ,y scalp any good so I had to treat that before I re started with this. Never had any allergic reactions using this. This does come out quite a dark brownish shade definitely not blonde on me – (left on the maximum time )lasts a good length of time. I wouldn’t call it ash blonde on me but the colour is what I want and suits me – I would recommend a lighter colour if you want blond ish but that does depend on your base colour of course – with lighter hair you might get the ash colour – mine is dark where I have not gone white so suits

Absolutely happy that decided to try this dye! Covers grey hair, very easy to use by yourself! Never dyed my hair by myself and thought to give it a go – it was very easy thanks to that comb for the bottle and my hair was evenly dyed! Now it’s my go to hair dye and the best is that I can do all fast and by myself!

I like this range as it is good for shiny hair and hair feels well conditioned after using it. However, it doesn’t last too long and the colour lightens quite quickly so need to use it more often.

I bought shade 8.1 to cover the brassiness of my recent bleaching. I had natural darkish brown hair, bleached it and then put a cool blonde over the top. Despite using all the toner correcting shampoos I couldn’t shift the brass and it was getting worse. This colour is lovely, has covered the brass and has made my hair feel so soft. I did not find the applicator comb particularly easy to use, it got caught in my shoulder length hair. I found one box plenty on my thick hair, it covered well and I’m really happy. The shampoo included is a great idea. I will definitely come back to this shade

Lovely colour. Leaves your hair soft and shiny. Covers all your grey bits for us ladies of a certain age! We know we’re worth it!

I barely spare time to write reviews, but this is thoroughly deserved. After a bad experience with hairdresser highlights years ago, I had done my own hair for years since then using the L’Oréal Baby Blonde 10 (which is also great) but then went platinum for years after. Recently, I wanted to add warmth back into my hair and due to its awkward porosity, tried to put my trust back into a hairdressers hands, which for me personally ended up a huge waste of money spending well over 100 just to end up with incredibly flat ashy light brown, when all I wanted was a nice warmer light blonde. I came away feeling disappointed and no dye was effectively high-lift lightening it back, as I wanted to try to avoid bleaching and prevent as much damage as I could. After a week of deep treatments (and hiding) I put my faith in this miracle box, and waited 40 minutes (avoiding too close to the roots as I will use a pure 9 or 10 on those to avoid a contrasting brassy root on new growth) and thankfully I had a lovely light blonde restored with a nice hint of golden injected back in, no orange or brassiness, just the colour I wanted to achieve all along and could have done for a tenner! Not only that, but my hair actually felt thicker and softer and shinier after surprisingly, so I was very relieved. If like me, you’re actually not wanting an ashy grey coloured blonde, a 9.3 is a great way to go as you need to counteract it with ‘3’ which is a golden tone. As mentioned, I’ll use just a 10 or 9 on my roots only when they come through to avoid contrast. Thank you Loreal, you’re worth it!

I’ll start by saying that I’ve always admired the art of hair coloring from a distance. But when I decided to channel my inner Picasso and try the L’Oréal Paris Excellence Crème Permanent Hair Dye in Natural Blonde on my wife’s locks, I didn’t realize I was about to create a masterpiece that even Mona Lisa would envy.
With the grace of a bull in a china shop, I donned the gloves and mixed the potions like a mad scientist. It was like watching Bob Ross mix his “happy little trees,” except my canvas was my wife’s hair. The suspense was palpable as we waited for the magic to happen, and let me tell you, the result was absolutely, magnificently blonde. Radiant doesn’t even begin to describe it – it was like the sun itself had descended upon her head.
The claim of up to 100% grey coverage? Well, I can confirm that not a single strand of wisdom (read: grey) peeked through. It was like the grey hairs saw the color and ran for the hills. And the Pro-Keratin? My wife’s hair felt like it had joined a spa retreat – so silky and smooth that I was almost tempted to try it myself.
Now, the pièce de résistance: the promise of up to 8 weeks of color. I couldn’t help but imagine my wife’s hair maintaining its golden glow while we went on epic adventures, facing dragons and saving kingdoms. Okay, maybe we just did groceries, but her hair looked stunning through it all.
In conclusion, L’Oréal Paris Excellence Crème Permanent Hair Dye turned me, an ordinary husband, into a hair coloring virtuoso. My wife’s hair has never been so vibrant, luxurious, and enchanting. If you’re ready to embrace your inner hair artist and make your partner’s hair dreams come true, this dye is your paintbrush to success. I’m just hoping my wife doesn’t ask me to replicate the Sistine Chapel on her next hair adventure!
