The real techniques makeup sponges are the best makeup sponges I have ever used. I have tried countless other brands of sponges (and brushes) to apply my foundation with and every time I come back to the RT sponges. They are soft, bouncy and fairly long lasting. It is easy to achieve both lighter, more natural finishes and heavier, full face looks with the sponge.
In my experience, they work best when dampened before use underneath running water and gently squeezed to dry off for flawless foundation application. This prevents the makeup sponges from soaking up too much of your liquid makeup product. It is important to make sure they are able to dry out after use, i.e. not shut away in a drawer with no airflow.

I have been using these sponges for years. They apply makeup really well when they are wet, I find them easy to clean and they don’t get rips or tears as easily as cheaper sponges. Though I do find they stain over time.

Bought for daughter she was really pleased with them

I always buy real techniques sponges. I get quite a bit of use out of each by continuing to clean after each use. They’re a bit expensive in my opinion, but they’re cheaper than others out there and they’re good quality. Sometimes they seem thick in the middle and less spongey – not sure if that’s user error – but they work less well when this happens.

Works like a charm. This isn’t the first time I’ve purchased/used these, so they’re definitely worth the money – hence why I still use them! They’re really good to help blend your foundation/concealer or dab setting powder. You can never get them looking as brand new once you’ve stained it with makeup, but they still wash very well. I dispose one off every so often, perhaps every two months or so. These are just as good as the more expensive and original Beauty Blender, but for less than half the price.

I wasn’t expecting the sponge to be as big as it is, I’m saying that my foundation goes on half the time it was taking using the smaller one, the price was very fair and delivery extremely fast.

Cheaper than the shops. Got it on sale. One of my favourite
