I don’t think it’s very absorbant! Was excited for this but doesn’t work as well as hoped for. Doesn’t seem to leave a residue for me so that’s okay. Just not as good as the blotting papers.

It works pretty well but I find I have to clean the ball a lot and it can take some time to dry. I prefer it to using blotting paper so still happy I bought it as it rolls right on top of my make up easily without ruining it.

What a great little gadget to wipe over my face to remove any oily build up during the day. Having an oily skin I find my face gets a little greasy throughout the day and I often blot my skin with tissue, but this is so much better and it takes up hardly any room in my bag and is handy to take out with me.
Easy to clean, I dry on a microfibre cloth and pop back in again.

This was in my wishlist for a while and I finally ordered it because summer is coming and my skin gets very oily during summer. It is such a good product. I’ve used it a lot on trains and planes because my skin gets especially oily when travelling and it’s amazing. As soon as I use it the excess oil completely disappears. I carry it in my bag with me wherever I go, it’s very useful and can be applied on top of makeup or bare faced.

Like so many others, I gave into the hype. It’s an inexpensive little gadget when compared to the (probably) thousands I have spent over my lifetime in an attempt to tame my oily face. For reference, I’m the type that, no matter what products I use or don’t use, my face is like a mirror by 9 or 10am. Usually powder is the go-to but, as I’ve gotten older, that looks less and less flattering. I am currently 44 with skin as oily as it was at 15. This thing impressed me from the first use. The plastic holder that the ball sits into is cheap feeling and makes a squeaking noise and the ball rolls but it’s not the end of the world. My face has a nice natural matte finish after using this. It’s easy to clean as I just pop the ball out, wash with mild soap and warm water, and leave on my countertop to dry overnight. Very happy I have this and it is now what I carry in my handbag rather than a compact of cakey powder.

This product is great at removing excess oil from my face. I’m naturally quite oily – so I benefit greatly from it.
Before using, I tested it on the back of my hand, and a lot of white powder residue was left behind. Being a person of colour – it would have been a bit of a shambles if I had gone straight in and used it on my face.
It was effective at removing excess oil from my face, however it did also remove some of my foundation / makeup. This isn’t ideal, but I will continue to use it 🙂 x

This actually works! However I found that it takes off makeup when used on top of foundation/powder which is a shame. But used on a bare face it does the trick
