This is one of the few moisturizers I have found that both moisturizes my skin without greasiness or without sitting on top of my skin. Also one of the few I have settled on and plan to purchase again. Years ago I used Neal’s Yard Yarrow and Comfrey moisturizer but they changed it and its now way too drying. I starting getting dry skin on my cheeks the last few years which other creams wouldn’t help with at all, not even the greasy ones, but this one seems to be keeping it at bay. It makes my skin feel really smooth and it absorbs well. My skin is not the kind that absorbs well and in the past I have had trouble with cream that just sits on top of my skin and I have to blot it off. It is very thick, so you can end up slapping on more than you need. What I do is rub a little between my fingers and pat it over my face and repeat until I have enough on. It’s a very good base for makeup and feel a little prettier with it on, partly because it feels like it plumps a little and also because I don’t feel like a have greasy shiny film over my face which makes me self conscious. It does have an unusual strong orangey smell. I don’t dislike that but some may find it offputting.

I bought this moisturiser largely due to the refill scheme but was really disappointed to find that it was always considerably more expensive to refill the pot than to buy a new pot via Amazon. I wouldn’t have minded if it was the same price, or even a couple of pounds more. That being said the pot itself is plastic free and fully recyclable. The moisturiser is ok. It’s a very heavy consistency which takes a bit of work to sink in. The texture takes a bit of getting used to. Even when absorbed I felt an almost stickiness to my skin rather than a softness. I kept with it for 3 pots worth but ultimately it didn’t suit my dry skin, leaving it feeling undernourished so I’m looking for an alternative elsewhere.
UPCIRCLE: Would so love to see you making the refill scheme easier and more economical for the consumer. It’s such a great USP.

Apart from being disappointed with Amazon, let me just say how wonderful this face moisturiser is! It’s lightweight but gives you a stunning glow, it also smells delicious (just like products I have had used during facials). I generally have fairly sensitive skin and this hasn’t aggravated it at all, it must be all those lovely natural ingredients! All this and its great for the environment (which was my main focus). I am overjoyed and don’t see myself ever using another face cream again!
HOWEVER,
I bought this face cream due to it being sustainable (packaging and resources), vegan, cruelty free, basically all the good stuff! It started off so well in a cardboard box, paper stuffing but for some ridiculous reason Amazon thought it was a good idea to wrap this beautifully sustainable face moisturiser in single-use plastic! I had only read the reviews on amazon however now I know this I will be re-ordering direct from the company (of which I didn’t know about at the time).
Amazon NEED to better with their single use plastics!

I have sensitive skin and this moisturiser is perfect for me. You don’t need to use a lot so it lasts. It rubs on smoothly and soaks in my face and does not leave my skin greasy and has a light pleasant smell. I have not had any adverse reactions to using this. I am grateful for previous reviews which helped me decide to purchase, I can recommend this moisturiser and have just re-ordered as this will now be my regular mosituriser.

I have oily/blemish prone skin and have been using this moisturiser for two years. I used to buy it on Beauty Bay but it’s been sold out for a while and when it came back it was more expensive so I switched over to Amazon to save some money and wasn’t disappointed in the saving – same great product, best price on the market. This smells heavenly, lasts forever and leaves my skin soft and glowy. It also layers really well with makeup and seals in other skincare like dream.

Possibly the best thing about this cream is its astounding value for money…… I am very well pleased with my purchase and will be buying it again.
