This is the closest thing to the pads I used back home. Not sure why I’ve never seen them in UK stores but the thin pads available have been nothing short of disappointing.
Glad I found this and will be buying more. They’re thicker than I expected but I’ll deal with the size for the comfort of not having to deal with leakages.

Having suffered from very heavy periods for years, using two pads at a time or a tampon and a pad, having to change every hour because I have bled through my clothes, not sleeping well because I have to change my pad every time, I must say these are a godsend. Day 2 and 3 of my periods are the heaviest and I am just annoyed that I did not find this pad much earlier. Now I can sleep through most of the night and don’t have to plan my life to a ‘T’ around my bloody period (pardon the pun).
They are very long and bulky (but I don’t find them uncomfortable) so would be visible through tight fitting clothes. However, I would take these any day over having to change every hour and bleeding through clothes and the mess that comes with it. I just wear long tops or really loose fitting clothes so they are not visible.

Top layer of pad feels plasticy so it sticks to the backside when sleeping on your back making it a bit uncomfortable at night

These pads are absolutely awesome! I recently moved to the UK and have been wanting to find these overnight pads that prevent blood from staining the bum at night, which I cant seem to find in stores. These do the job
