Love the mirror 20 magnification is high and takes time to adjusting to using it, I love it

I honestly don’t know how I ever managed for so many years without owning a mirror like this. One side is your standard mirror, but when I flipped it over to the 20 times magnification mirror, it was absolutely horrifying. You could see every single individual facial hair and eyebrow in fine detail, every single flake of dry skin, every line, every blemish and pimple, all close up and in your face. The worst thing for me was seeing that I had 4 or 5 very long fine dark hairs, in different places, sprouting out from under my chin. The shame of it! My husband had never told me about them, nobody else had either, I hadn’t seen or felt them when using my regular mirror, yet there they were. Out came the tweezers, and they were the first thing to go. Next, a look at my eye brows. I always used to think I’d made a pretty good job at plucking them using my tweezers and a little hand-held mirror. Looking in this mirror, I could instantly see I had lefts loads behind. The magnification on this makes eyebrow plucking an absolute breeze. You can instantly see every single out of place brow, and pluck it away with high precision accuracy.
Not only is this mirror now an essential item, it looks fantastic on my dressing table too. I had thought I wanted a more modern looking illuminated square mirror, but this one is so much easier to pick up by the slim elegant steam, then carry it to where you have the best level of light at that time. The overall mirror height, including the transparent acrylic stand, is approx. 32.8cm high. The overall diameter including the matching transparent acrylic mirror frame is 19.8cm, with the actual mirror having a 14.5cm diameter. It has a decent weight to be able to stand sturdily, but not too heavy to be able to effortlessly hold in one hand. The mirror swivels easily within its holder, but also stays firmly in the place you position it. You also get a cleaning cloth in the box. I liked this mirror so much that I’ve just ordered one to send to my sister as a surprise Christmas treat. I’m sure she’s going to love it as much as I do. Highly recommended.

ASSEMBLY
Very easy, just screw the base onto the upright by hand. No tools required. The manufacturer suggests you can dismantle it to make it portable; true, but that doesn’t make it ideal for travelling, it’s still big!
GOOD BITS

+ Quality materials (stainless steel frame, chromed stand, nylon pivots)
+ Elegant, simple design
+ Base has felt to protect your surfaces
+ 25x magnification is great but you need to get quite close
BAD BITS – very little
– Base a bit small maybe for the large mirror, could be more stable
– Still using foamed plastic for packaging
– 20x maginfication might be too high?
– Chrome finish might wear off over time
CONCLUSION
This B Beauty Planet mirror is excellent for makeup, shaving, and general grooming at home – and sort-of portable. 20x magnification is probably a bit more than I want to use every day, but that’s just me. Five stars.

I got this to replace our old bathroom mirror which, having had for over 10 years, is finally starting to look a bit grubby.
The first thing I noticed is the massive 20x magnification that this mirror comes with – compared to a tiny 3x on my old one. So that’s pretty impressive!
The other side of the glass is standard glass.
The mirror is well made and suits our bathroom but some may prefer a more modern-looking mirror. This is more traditional.

Mirror is no good as it won’t stay in upright position, it’s so unfortunate as the mirror its self is lovely and the lights absolutely perfect, unfortunately unable to use as no way to stop it from either tilting front or backwards.
I only gave three stars as the mirror is really nice and it was packaged well, but not fit for the purpose I need.
BTW I never write reviews unless bad and other people need warned or and item is really good
