When they say extra hold they mean EXTRA hold. Too structured for what I was looking for and no shine, doesn’t feel very nice but I should imagine for a young guy looking for very structured hair this would be perfect.

The product is good. Holds my edges, I also bought the Cantu edge brush. Have been using this product in my new hair journey. Would get this product again, once I run out. I recommend.

If you have fine and/or straight baby hair this works great, just be careful not to put it directly on ton your roots; it will make your hair greasy. It works well for flyaways but a little goes a long way. Unlike what others said, I don’t find it super flaky. It does create buildup however.

This stuff is awful. I feel like the seller/company used the packaging but added a different content. The consistency of the gel itself was wrong. Used a small amount on my hair; it did not hold and the area became irritated. I would not this use this particular product for afro hair. I steongly suggest you do not waste your money.

Used this for braids on 4C hair (see pictures). Absolutely amazing, it really did hold and smoothen the hair like magic. Honestly will forever use this. It smells nice and does condition the hair as well. It makes the hair soft and smooth which allows it to be easy to tuck the hair while braiding. Not a lot of product in the container but a little goes a long way.

Great product. Firmly holds my edges in place and doesn’t leave any dried residue bits. It is also easy to loosen in the evening when I take my hair down.

J’ai utilisé ce produit quatre fois à ce jour, et à chaque fois ce produit n’a tenu qu’une heure ou deux maximum. J’ai tenté la méthode avec un ruban en soie pour plaquer les cheveux après la pose, avec le sèche cheveux, séchage à l’air, en mettre plus, en mettre moins… Rien ne marche. J’habite un environnement très humide et je transpire facilement (bien que pas plus que n’importe qui!), et mes contours étaient systématiquement défaits après même pas deux heures. A fuir.
