The bottle is nice and easy to use, twist the lid off and squeeze to fill the sponge with highlighter. When I squeezed quite a lot came out and so you do not need to apply too much pressure.
The pigment in the highlighter is really good, one brush on my hand for the picture went a long way. I applied two dots to my cheek bones when applying my makeup and it is more than enough and it shows when a light layer of powder is applied over the top but looks much better on its own. The colour rose quarts is very light baby pink and looks just as the picture/ information described.

I don’t know why, as don’t have this issue with the blushes, but this seems to lift foundation. Doesn’t matter how I apply tried direct, fingers, brush, beauty blender it lifts my foundation underneath. Wouldn’t purchase this one again

Prior to trying out this liquid highlighter I was using powder highlighter… this e.l.f. highlighter is my new favourite! I love how easily it just blends and how natural it can look if you just use a tiny bit. Out of personal preference, I like applying it before my mineral face powder so that it is not too shimmery looking but still provides a natural looking glow. It is also buildable for a more prominent glow and shimmer but that’s not really my style. Would recommend.

Very pretty on the skin, I love the colour and texture of the product. It applies really well over my foundation and really adds to my make up look. I’m concerned about the hygiene of the sponge considering its non washable and touches your face directly. I think for that reason I would be hesitant to pick it up again as there’s no way I would want to keep applying something bacteria infested to my face. But if this isn’t something that bothers you or you could find a way around it then it’s definitely a great product that looks really nice and is very versatile.

I tried to put this on over my foundation but it unfortunately dragged it away a fair bit and covered the pad end, so tried it again before foundation. I’m still not as keen on it compared to my usual powder, but it does technically contour, I’ll just have to apply more than I would normally I think.
It says you can just squeeze and brush across but I got very patchy result when doing this, as the sponge didn’t distribute it particularly well. I found it quite tough to blend out as well, leaving either a patchy result in my foundation or a not particularly tidy look without. I think with the amount I need to put on ahead of foundation too I would get through this way too quickly compared to a stick or powder.
