I discovered this hair product by accident when I last visited the USA because I had run out of my regular. It is an amazing hair gel. It makes my hair softer, smoother and gives excellent shine all day long without any flakiness or residue. I find it to be non greasy and easy to apply, and has a nice gentle smell all day long as if I have just washed my hair. I have short wavy hair.

I have given this a good few weeks to review. Firstly, what excellent value for the amount you get. The pot is HUGE! It will last me for months. I can see how this got damaged in some folk’s deliveries though. It is not really meant for postage.
Not really much scent, if any, it is mild which is fine by me. The quality is good and after a good few weeks my hair does not seem greasy or plasticy like some other gels, whilst allow me to style my hair.
Will it prevent me from grey, probably not, but I do feel a slight improvement in the quality/thickness of my hair but I am also using upgraded shampoo and conditioner. So. It could be a mix and I believe this gel is complimenting the better washing regiment.

Very disappointed in this product because I always buy this particular type but this one purchased has very little hold. Factory problem?

I’m obsessed with this gel. I use it as the last product in my curly hair routine and holds my curls so well, it doesn’t make it scrunchy or tough/hard, after drying it i just scrunch my curls to break the cast and my curls stay in place and are soft and bouncy. I’ve been using it for a while and I love it and it’s the first gel that’s really taken well with my 3B hair

I wasn’t sure what to expect when using this hair gel, but it holds my 3A curls perfectly. The gel does produce a good cast, but this is easily rectified by scrunching out the crunch. I get well defined, frizz free curls for 2 to 3 days when using this gel along with a curl cream and oil. The gel smells okay and contains argon oil to protect dry/damaged hair. I find with this gel a little goes a long way making it very good value. Overall I would recommend this product.

This gel is great, I put it on wet hair and it left my curls soft and loose. No frizz in sight and it didn’t leave my hair crunchy like other products I’ve used. Next morning a quick spray of water reactivated my curls. Massive tub which will last me ages at a very reasonable price.

I like the package and that holds my hair completely. I think that the fact that has argan oil on it makes a difference for me.

Uso este gel hace años. La marca ha sacado (otras presentaciones) pero la original y de mayor fijación debe decir estos ingredientes.
Las demás presentaciones tienen diferentes ingredientes, mientras que la original me mantiene el pelo hermoso 4 días. Las demás solo 1 y a penas 2. Créanme. Hay mucha diferencia.

This is always my go to hair gel. I find it so important to use products without alcohol, as my hair (mixed race, different types all over) is so weak. These gels always smell lurrvely as well. I’m not sure if every single version is alcohol free so worth checking- they might be, I just can’t remember!
I find that they don’t leave too much residue at all in my hair. If I do have flakes then it’s usually from my other products.
Dries well so not sticky but doesn’t leave hair dried out.
I was so happy when I found this brand about a year ago. Nice and cheap as well.

Ottimo gel per nutrire e idratare i capelli ricci. Non unge, non appiccica, non indurisce e non lascia residui. Se cercate un gel “effetto bagnato” che irrigidisca i capelli, questo prodotto non fa per voi. L’effetto finale è molto naturale, definisce i ricci rendendoli morbidi e voluminosi e aiuta a contrastare l’effetto crespo. È ottimo da usare anche tutti i giorni per ridare definizione ai capelli senza appesantirli.

I can only really compare it to other hair gels or the ECO Olive Oil.
Surprisingly this version of the ECO Styler gel had a much looser consistency than the olive oil, it was almost pudding-like. The smell is quite faint so if you don’t like it, it’s not very noticeable once it has dried on your hair. Unlike other hair gels, this one made my hair shiny which was a pleasant bonus since my hair is not naturally shiny although I am having some issues with it too. When it goes on your hair it appears very wet while it is drying which initially gave me the impression that it would dry sticky but it didn’t, it dried rock hard! My curls were so clumped together that I had to wash my hair in order to separate them, my hair didn’t lay in natural position, it appears stiff. The ECO Olive Oil however dries defining curls but not in a crunchy fashion. And as many of you will know, ECO Styler products are disastrous when used with other products as they dry gritty and white so I couldn’t combat this stiffness using anything like a leave-in conditioner which is upsetting.
I’m not giving up on this product as it was cheap for a very large amount and does have its advantages but the way it dries means I have yet to enjoy this to its fullest potential. As of now it only looks acceptable on my wash and go’s. Although, If I’m not able to keep my hair moisturised somehow as well as using this product, I may just go back to using the ECO Olive Oil instead.
