It’s been over a month, but had to say this. This face cream is absolutely amazing. I was in a real pickle with a combination of menopause, inflammation, medication and stress. My skin was worse than it’s ever been in my life. Reactive, flaking, acne, dry, oily….. I couldn’t wear make up and for over a year I was becoming more and more disheartened. I had topical antibiotics from the doctor and tried every type of skin product from very expensive to home remedies. I’d heard about Egyptian Magic and couldn’t justify another hefty price tag and came across this.
From the first application, my skin softened. I’d had a severely dehydrated top layer of skin that was like paper from all the attempts to control it. My skin felt comfortable and soft. Smells beautiful, yes it’s a heavy natural cream. But more like butter in the way it melts on contact with the heat of your skin.
I leave it on for 30 mins before putting make up on and it’s ok. Manageable. But can understand if you might find it too greasy. But I’d rather have it’s healing benefits and an oilier looking make up face!
In short, it transformed my skin, as much as anything can. The problems I have needs addressing from the inside most of all, but this is probably now the biggest joy in my entire routine. I look forward to using it, will not never be without it. It heals, it’s natural and your body knows it.
Btw, I bought Egyptian Magic as a comparison. It isn’t a patch on this product!!!!! In comparison it’s greasy and fails to
sink in. Plus the smell is unremarkable.
I use this product in everything. Frizzy hair,
cuticles, dry patches, it’s now my go to. I’ll never be without, and buy everything else the company produces.
I’m 52 and a product junky. I’ve tried everything from every company and one time or another including the organic natural ones. Nothing is like this. Buy it if you think you can’t take reading one more label trying to figure out if the ingredients are going to give you inflammation, hormone issues, block your skin, actually work! This one does it ALL.
As long as you remember there are no miracles, skin care only gets you so far. But as far as I’m concerned, this is the holy grail of skin products from nature.

I have to use a cpap machine on a night and have to be careful what I use on my face because of the mask. The moisturiser made explicitly for cpap users is very expensive for the amount you get and when I saw that this was made from natural ingredients I decided to give it a try. It smells great and a little amount goes a long way. Also it helped with my complexion. I would highly recommend this product.

I’m happy with this balm. It’s really good for dry skin for anyone, but particularly for menopausal women. It’s thick and lasts on my skin until morning, and has taken over from an oil I’d been using for years.
It smells beautiful, but subtle, so a little bit more frankincense would be nice.
Good value, vegan and cruelty free.

Initially I wasn’t sure about this product and did put a review to this However I decided to persevere znd give it another try I’m so glad I did !! My initial response after trying for a couple of times was I felt it was too oily and I wouldn’t be able to put my foundation on but now I don’t think I’ll be using anything else It’s lovely ! It’s oily on applying but soon absorbes and my makeup goes on easily and the smell is fantastic

Fancy saving yourself the £50-150 you spend on branded creams that are full of fake promises? Then you don’t need to look further. After spending hours scrolling through the endless options, I gave Ilex Wood a go & lets just say I won’t give the branded stuff a second glance now.
My skin is easily aggravated, but this is not an issue with this balm, in fact this stuff has really helped soothe my skin at times it’s been red & sore. The balm is also very thick, and only a little is needed so I can tell it will last a long time. Rare gem of a product.
My only issue, is that there’s no physical store to visit! But it’s an issue one can understand in this economy. I will happily purchase this again & suggest to friends/family.
