It is too soon to comment on if it actually reduces dark spots, brightens the skin or reduces the appearance of fine lines, but I have been using the same brand serum for the day time as well as the night time serum and the texture is very different between the two. The day time serum absorbs well into the skin and my skin feels smooth and soft afterwards, whereas with the nighttime serum, even hours later, my skin feels sticky and tacky. I do not like the consistency and feeling of the nighttime serum to be honest. I will continue using it for now, to give it time to see if I notice a difference in my skin, but if not, I will probably just stick to using the day time serum instead.

I’m not a fan of moisturisers because I don’t like the greasy feeling on my skin afterwards and they always seem to bring me out in spots. I much prefer a serum but there are so many to look at. This had good reviews and I’m always on the look for something to give me a more even and brighter complexion.
Firstly, in my opinion, this doesn’t feel like a traditional serum. Normally when you apply it you have that really smooth, silky, plumped finish to your skin but this one, although it absorbs well, doesn’t make any difference to how your skin feels. When I run my fingers over my skin, I almost have a squeaky finish to my skin and not the silky finish I so associate with a serum.
You use one full dropper after you’ve cleansed your face and the instructions does say twice a day, but I only do it in the morning.
It promotes that the vitamin C helps to brighten skin and dark spots. I have several dark spots around my hairline and within a week, I’ve not seen any difference to those, but I would say generally my complexion does have a slightly brighter and clearer look to it.
I don’t feel that this serum does anything in particular for wrinkles, or pumping the skin; it seems to purely help to brightens dull skin. It’s adequate at giving a slightly brighter finish, but then I find I get the same results whenever I try new skincare system so I remain unconvinced.
Perhaps this would be better suited to a younger skin range, I’m 36 so feel that I potentially need something with a little bit of plumping

Lovely product, not quite sure if they are working yet but they do make your skin feel softer and more moisturised. Only time will tell I suppose

I don’t know if this is the best product for you if you have sensitive skin. I notice some stinging when I first apply this which I don’t think is to be expected, I’ve had to really reduce the amount of product I put on my skin. it smells lovely, feels silky and absorbs well, the bottle will definitely last me a long time too as I use it sparingly. if you have super sensitive skin I would be a little careful with this, in sometimes have a little rash on my cheeks If I use too much of it. it says to use twice a day but I can only use it in the mornings, I think twice a day would be too much for my skin

I was a bit skeptical about this as the vitamin C serums I’ve bought before were all clear or a tinge of orange/ yellow. This one is cloudy but nonetheless smells quite zesty. Personally I love the smell. Very refreshing on the face, smell wise and feel wise. It absorbs instantly, I don’t need whole lot. It leaves a slightly dewy look, and a tad sticky for a few minutes but it will air dry quickly. Not sure if this is wishful thinking but I feel more awake. Almost like I put caffeine drops on my face. Anyway, I cannot obviously say what the effects are in terms of lightening my dark sunspots. I plan to come back and review in 14 days time though. I did wash my face with the The Faceshops Rice Water Bright first followed by the Cosrx snail essence. These 2 absolutely adds to my skin feeling nourished and fresh.

This is the only product I have used that has done what it’s promised to do – I had a scar near my temple from an old spot and I suffer with pigmentation which becomes worse in the summer with the sun exposure. This little serum not only hydrates and provides my skin with goodness but the scar is completely gone and I have noticed a definite improvement with my pigmentation. I’ll never want to be without this now. It’s so easy to incorporate into my skin care routine, it’s non sticky and super hydrating. Love it!
