Received it looks ok pressed and the three different lights go on. Tried it twice haven’t seen any changes so couldn’t say if this mask actually works or not.

I have no idea how, I’ve tried everything, I was incredibly sceptical, but my hormonal acne on my chin is finally looking a lot better. This is the knockoff product too! Can’t believe it actually worked haha

Recently I’ve been having uncontrolled breakouts, my friend recommended your mask but say I was a bit skeptical when it came to this LED mask. I can happily say, 10 minutes daily using the blue light actually reduced the number of break outs I’ve had. I’ll keep using for the next two months to see the end result. Plus I must say, laying down for the 10 minutes with spa music on and the mask which comes with protective eye wear is very therapeutic

Sorry long post. Iv suffered with acne since my late teens, so much so I had to go on strong medication, thankfully that worked. I’m 37 now and since then Ive had minor flare ups, but generally my acne is under control. I have extremely oily skin, mix that with the time of the month and I always get at least one or two spots here and there, but I can live with that. For the last two months out of nowhere I have completely broken out around my chin area and oily T zone! This has not happened for years. It’s been awful, I am very good at keeping my face clean, and following a routine morning & night. Everything iv been doing the last two months has had little to no affect. Some spots would clear and new ones would arrive, it’s been upsetting and a knock to my confidence. It became apparent that no matter what I was doing, it was out of my control, maybe hormonal. So I came across this mask, and thought I’d give it a go. I’m on day 6 of using it, I’m using the blue setting 2/3 times a day 10 minutes each time. I can say that my spots are slowly going and no new ones are appearing 😄….. it is early days but wow!!!!!
I feel there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

I’d been wanting to try a light mask for a while now but had no desire to pay some of the premium prices. Similarly, I didn’t want one of the really cheap masks that has been slung together and likely won’t last long.
The fit and feel of this mask is good and it seems to be keeping my skin looking plump and firm. The mask has a few quirks that whilst annoying are not deal breakers. First, you need to provide your own power source as there is no battery. This is good as it keeps the costs down and you won’t be left with a dead battery in a few years, but it is a hassle as you have to be either tethered to a socket or carry aound a USB power bank. Second, the unit will turn off after displaying a colour for 10 mins; there is no way I have found to set it going once and have it do 10 mins of each colour in a row. Third, if you leave the microUSB cable plugged in, the unit won’t power on the next time you come to use it: you have to unplug and replug the cable.
In terms of light masks in general, I am not sure of the benefits of the blue and orange light. Violet light (~400 nm) does kill bacteria and is good for acne but I’m not sure what the ~450-480nm light this mask puts out will do. In order to excite/stimulate subdermal molecules you need longwavelength light as the skin and our pigments blocks the light from penetrating beyond a milimeter or so. Thus, whilst I am happy that the red light has an effect, I don’t think the orange light is going to penetrate your skin at all. I would much prefer a mask that did red (650-670 nm) and NIR (>700 nm).

Wow is the first thing I have to say about the the Hangsun LED light therapy mask.
Once I received the mask, I read the instructions which were really simple and easy to understand. I did my usual facial routine in the evening and then put my mask on and relaxed, okay admittedly it isn’t exactly comfortable on the bridge of the nose (well it wasnt for me) it pinched and left a little dent but it soon went after.
I’m on week 3 of using the mask and now starting to see my wrinkles on my forehead and the side of my eyes starting to look less prominent.
I turn 40 next month and this has given my face a little boost. Of course its not going to make me look like 21 again but it is certainly something I couldn’t live without.
I’m usually sceptical with these kind of things but honestly it’s worth it and so nice you are able to use something as luxury as this in the comfort of your own home instead of going to a salon. This will certainly be a part of my routine now.
Even my husband is wanting to use it now.
