I have one very dry eye, due to multiple operations on it. Hylo Forte works adequately well at lubricating the eye, certainly as well as anything I have used before. I don’t find a significant improvement in lubricity compared to Hylo Tear and it works similarly. It is reasonably easy to instil the drops, since it is a commonly used container.

Hylo Forte was until recently available on prescription. Now the authorities have requested Doctors to prescribe a cheaper eye drop, which sadly is not as effective as Hylo Forte. Therefore I prefer to purchase Hylo Forte.

There’s a lot of ‘priming’ to do before the first drop appears. Surprisingly few drops are dispensed (one per treatment) before the bottle is empty. Do other users share my experience of this product? That said, a drop is quite effective for some time!

I was prescribed the Hylo- Tear drops by my doctor for dry eyes, but since I found the Forte ones I find I don’t have to apply more when I wake up in the night. I would recommend these if you struggle with dry eyes

I suffer from severe dry eye ‘resulting in ulceration’ and my eye specialist, recommended I use this eye drop.I find it incredibly lubricating ,close your eyes and put the drop in the corner next to your nose, no mirror required or spillage
