Having made the switch to as many clean/non tox products as possible, I really wanted to like this. Unfortunately my mascara went really clumpy and hard after two weeks and it was closed properly and tightly. Not sure why but definitely disappointed as it was nice to apply and wear.

Mascara is great once it’s on but you have to leave it a few minutes to dry otherwise it gets all over your eyelids.

I love this mascara, I’ve used various vegan/natural mascaras over the years and I always return to this one. The lengthening is amazing and the mascaras doesn’t go clumpy at all. It’s easy to remove – I use coconut oil. I hope this product stays around

I gave up with mascara in 2007 when I suddenly became allergic to almost all cosmetics. Well, I didn’t give up, I kept trying, but they were expensive mistakes that ended up in the bin. After a while, i’d use a brand new spoolie to try them out, because at least then I could pass them on.
But, this? This mascara is a revelation. It is mainly moisturising oils as far as I can make out and the tinting ingredient must be very gentle. No, it’s not perfect for staying power – the odd visit to the ladies to clean up the (small) smudges is required. But, it’s perfectly acceptable against the mascara staying power my friends report from their premium branded versions.
And, my eyes don’t sting, water, itch or react while wearing or the next day. Comes off easily with micellar water. Perfect. A real find. Now I just need Poppy Austin to make some eye liner, base and eye shadow!
