This hot air brush was the best purchase I made for my hair. I struggle to use a hairdryer and brush to get my blowout look and I just couldn’t seem to get the hang of it, so I thought I’d give this a go.
It took me a good few attempts to find what method works best for my hair. I have extremely thick and straight hair, and a lot of it too, so I do have to section up my hair into very small pieces for the heat to have a better effect on it, and I can get away with the highest heat setting since my hair is so thick. After I figured out the wrist motion, styling my hair felt very natural and a lot easier than the traditional method! It comes with a handy protective bag for easy travelling. The product is not so light but easy to use nonetheless. The large oval barrel makes for lovely bouncy waves.
I could imagine that for those with thinner hair, this may cause too much damage for your hair as it does run VERY hot, especially the titanium plated edition. But for those with thicker hair, this product is most likely what you are looking for. I have managed to cut down the time that my blowouts take by almost half.

I purchased this same hot brush a few years ago and found it too hot and unwieldy. However I really need a large barrel hot brush again and didn’t realise it was the same one I got a few years ago – maybe it’s now a different manufacturer or they have sorted out the over heat I don’t know but while it does get hot, there is a cooler setting. However, it’s great to hold, the end stays cool to touch and you can get an overall super grip on the handle and your your hair segments. The brush achieves a smooth length and a nice under turn at the bottom – so great for a long smooth bob and it also makes super outward flips to fringes and layers. So it’s a winner for me. I have post menopausal hair, so it is much dryer these days but I load up on product and heat protection spray. I’m not sending this hot air brush back – it will stay in my hairstyling tools basket! I gave 5 stars because it is really loud.

As someone with Fibromyalgia, I had pretty much given up on trying to blow dry my hair. The combined weight of a hairdryer in one hand and the styling brush in the other was too much for me to manage and I usually had to give up after completing a quarter of my hair.
I was initially unsure whether to order the One Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser based on a couple of the negative reviews. However, I could not be happier that I took the plunge and ordered it.
I find it easy to hold, and the fact that you can support the other end to distribute the weight makes it very manageable. It can be a bit too hot on the highest setting when close to the neck, but the lower heat setting is fine.
I would be pleased to recommend this to people with chronic health conditions, although I do recognise, of course, that we all have different experiences.
