**Update: after trying to sharpen the pencil, I now have half of the product left after a day. It kept breaking while I was sharpening it and it didn’t even get to a good point. It also doesn’t stay very well and ends up looking quite smudged after a few hours but at least it’s affordable and looks good for most of the time.
I’m not a pro at eyeliner so I was a little worried about how using this would turn out, especially if it can’t be softened out but I’ve found myself to be enjoying it. It was pretty easy to achieve a good gradient and also really get that deep black eyeliner in the places it was needed. After it settles a little it becomes more smudge-proof but I’m glad it doesn’t immediately set because it gives me time to either wipe it off or blend it. Would recommend for people looking for something simple but effective.

I’m always looking for a good black eyeliner so was pleased to try this while the price was reduced.
It’s a decent quality eyeliner in a true black.
I find it easy to use, it gives a clear line and lasts fairly well.
It’s also a smooth line without feathering.
I don’t think I’ll change permanently from my usual brand, but as an affordable backup it’s useful to have.

Nice simple eyeliner, easy to use, looks great once it is on, even when putting a light line it still shows up really well. Comes off very easily with simple face wash and doesn’t seem to run.

Bought this for tight lining the eye. Does the job perfectly. Nice and soft when applying. Does not drag my eyelid. Easy to use. Fantastic value and does the job better than more expensive brands I have tried.

This black pencil eyeliner is brill!
The pigment is on point – blackest black
Glides on smooth, no struggle or jagged lines.
Comes off pretty easy with face wash.
Might not be the one if you want 100% smudge-proof as it will move if you’re prone to rubbing your eyes but otherwise will stay and last – that being said, if you’re into smokey eye look, this is the one!
Simple cheap staple for the make up bag!
