This product contains a bond protector which was important to me. I’ve been dyeing my hair for 40 years and over the last 5 years I’ve had terrible problems with breakage and dry hair because of colour processing. I do use a bond repair (olaplex dupe) which has definitely saved my hair but it’s such a prolonged process when i need to dye! Anyway this product cuts that out as it’s included in the solution.
The red is beautiful. I have mid brown hair and this produces a rich, deep red. However as I am getting some greys around the hairline at my temples/side of the face the colour was a bit ‘brassy’, i calmed it down with a bit of dark brown semi-permanent colour just to those areas.
If you’re looking for a deep auburn/red then this will do the job.

This is a rave review! Wow. This took my hair from a mix of dark brunette, dark purples and pink highlights to literally 99% match to the box!
If you look at the photo I’ve held the box next to my hair straight after dyeing it and blow/drying. I was so impressed! It really gives you a lovely shade of blonde.
The other thing I want to rave about is how soft my hair is (and still is weeks later). A lot of blonde and hairdresser bleaching in the past left my hair dry, breaking off and always getting into knots. Not this!
I don’t use expensive shampoos – I swap between Herbal Essences Oil of Morocco (blue bottles) and Fudge pump pack. My hair is soft if I let it dry naturally into my natural waves or if I blow dry and straighten. Shiny too which is hard to get on a lot of blonde tones.
I do use a pure keratin serum just on the ends which seals it lovely. My hair was a state of dark colours and the worst hair dye job I’d ever had in 25 years at a salon and I was distressed. This rescued me!
I use a toner shampoo on it about once a week but that’s just my preference. I also sometimes now add in a temporary wash-out pale pink to give an ombré or highlights effect.
I’ve achieved blonde better with this product over ANY salon job going from darker tones in 29 years of changing hair colours. At some salons they had to have me in twice to lift me from brunette and left my hair in awful condition.
I have medium length hair and needed two boxes. You may need three if your hair is long. I prefer to have more so I can really ensure good coverage.
I honestly wasn’t sure this would work but twice now I’ve used it to go from dark to blonde perfectly.
I can’t recommend this highly enough. It’s a brilliant product at a fraction of salon prices. A top salon said I could not go from my mess of brunette, purple and hot pink to pure blonde. No chance they said. I went back and showed them the results.
*Crickets Chirping* was the impact. They could not believe how soft and shiny my hair was also.
Go for it! If it could lift my mess of dark colours it should do anyone.

I hate using anything else to lighten my hair, it lightens a little with no risk of hair just breaking off. I call it ‘baby’ bleach as it won’t keep going, it gets to a certain point and that’s your lot. No where near as damaging as other products and doesn’t stink to high heaven like some others

I love this hair colour; it gives a natural finish, shine and lasts and lasts. I was delighted to find it and struggled to find replacements when it suddenly disappeared. The colour is true to that advertised, if a little darker. I recently bumped into another buyer in a well known chemist’s frantically searching for the dye when it hadn’t appeared on Amazon for some time. Please keep making this schwartzkopf and keep stocking it Amazon. A product I bulk buy

I’ve been feeling a bit down and deflated recently, so thought I’d dye my air a fun colour.
This dye is really good, I wanted a warm tone as I’m fair skinned.
I highly recommend that if you have longer hair than mine definitely buy 2-3 boxes.
I disregarded the instructions pretty much completely.
My hair was really oily and had had product on it so I washed it in some sulphate free shampoo and dried it.
(My hair is natural but I did have a perm some 6 weeks a go.)
I then proceeded to section my hair and smoothed all the creme through, which was super easy and not too smelly, I then did my roots ensuring my hair was really well covered. I then wrapped it in clingfilm and left it for 45mins, rinced it twice and then put the hair mask on, for 15mins.
And as you can see it’s turned out really well. Super happy with it!!

Very happy with the end result. People say ok other reviews that the colour comes out darker than they expected but the colour on the front of the box is the colour I got. As you can see from the picture there are some blonde lighter tones as well as brown tones. So easy to use and would definitely purchase again. I left the colour on for 40 minutes. I recommend leaving your hair to go greasy before using the dye as it helps to protect the hair follicles from damage and stops the burning sensation on the scalp. Definite thumbs up from me.
