I have been looking for this ashy colour for a while and no others seem to cover my roots. I use Jerome Russell bleach when my roots have grown out and it’s a yellow colour with orange roots. So I then use a blonde permanent dye to cover. This is the only one I’ve used that after one application doesn’t show the difference in the roots. Other than it smelling like a granny’s tights it’s a great colour at a reasonable price.

I brought this dye in black, I have used a lot of brands in various colours, I was looking for a new black to cover my stubborn greys so after a lot of blog reading I decided to try this.
I have a chin length bob and this kit just covered my hair. Not much product for the money considering the market, even the after care sachet only had enough for one time use most dye kits now have generous bottles with a few uses in but not the case with this.
It didn’t smell much, it did tingle and borderline sort of got mild stinging on my scalp, you have to leave this dye for 45 minutes on unwashed dry hair which I did.
It wasn’t too bad to rinse off, my hair felt horrible, used the after care left for the two minutes then rinsed my hair still felt horrible it was like straw 🙁
I then put my own conditioner on and finally soft hair!!!
Styled as normal, this has stained my scalp pretty much all over, two washes later it has the impression of scalp stain I am not 100% sure if it is this or the colours used to make this shade of black.
I am thrilled, I feel for the price you should get more in your hair dye kit, my hair felt terrible, I dare say one of the worst feeling in years and for saying this dye is no ammonia & made with ‘caring oils’ I am unsure why my hair felt so horrible.
At my roots it looks a little blackcurrant, this dye isn’t a great black which is disappointing after all the homework I did into this dye before trying 🙁
It is very meh, I won’t use it again or this line for any future hair colours, the feel afterwards is just not worth it.

Unfortunately, red dye not matter the brand is always the fastest to fade but this colour was beautiful whilst it lasted !! Perfect for autumn – depending on your colouring it can look quite natural however it can also look fake depending on your usage. It was much much harsher on my hair than my summer loreal colour I use and did not make it shiny like other dyes I have tried. I recommend using olaplex before this and a deep conditioner treatment afterwoulds.

I love this product. Lifts my hair colour beautifully to give a beautiful ash blonde. My hair is mid brown with sporadic greys, it works on them all. I bought a few to stock up and I’ll be back at this price

Always use this product, its lasts for 2 weeks, if you have not yet tried, I highly recommend to try once, will always prefer to go for this product.
