It was very easy to use and didn’t take long at all. Only wanted it to cover grey roots etc so ideal.

Great product to keep you going between visits to the hairdresser. Could not be easier to use – just mix two bottles of solution together in the little plastic container provided, brush on to your roots with the brush provided (which is just right so you don’t get any dye where you don’t want it) and after 10 minutes you’re done. TIP: Put some Vaseline round your hairline first as it stops the dye from ‘bleeding’ into the skin and staining it.

Well tried product which works really well for me. It covers my grey between full colouring sessions and works really well. I only use a small amount of the product each time and this means that it does 3-4 touch ups from one pack. My hear is dark brown with some red in it naturally. I’ve also been having red highlights and some red added to th all over colour for the last 9 months and this root touch up works as well as it did when I had it one colour. I’m very pleased with this product.
I had trouble getting locally so ordered from Amazon but I’ll probably got it on-lie from Superdrug in future as it’s cheaper.

Great for colouring men’s hair. As a “root” kit it has enough dye to do a man’s head in total.
I switched to try this after the Just for Men failed terribly (colour was awful and didn’t last) and Preference was a disaster…
With Preference even rinsing as carefully as I could, I ended up with stinging eyes and scalp for weeks after use. I don’t get that with this product.
The other bonus is that this only needs 10 minutes before rinsing; most others need 30 nowadays.

This product is good and does colour my grey just a shame it doesn’t last longer. I leave it on my hair for longer than it states when I colour my hair and it generally colours my grey for about 3 weeks. Its easy to apply and the little tray and brush that is provided is very good and easy to use.

I bought this to address my overdue root touch up. Colour matches my hairdresser dyed hair perfectly. You get just the right amount of mixture to cover your roots a good inch or so. This is not for a full head. People have commented that it is a waste of money buying this when you could buy a full pack and just mix what you need when you need it. Personally, I prefer the comfort of knowing that the different products you need to mix are in the right proportions. Once mixed this goes on easily and without drips. I did find the brush tricky to use – almost felt like the wrong shape, so once I had done my hairline I massaged the dye into my roots with my finger tips and this worked just as well. I did leave the dye on longer than the ten minutes (as previously suggested) and the colour has taken well. My hair feels soft and doesn’t smell of hair dye – which for me is a bonus as I hate the smell of freshly dyed hair. Will definitely buy again.

I usually use the Clairol Permanent dye in ‘Darkest Brown’ but found that it was quite a chore to regularly top up when my roots were showing; having to colour my entire head with colour, and causing build up.
I had never tried just a root touch up kit, as cost wise it made more sense to purchase a whole box! However I found this easy to apply and it blended perfectly.
As mentioned I always used ‘Darkest Brown’ so was hesitant when this was only available in ‘Dark’ but it still blended well.
This would be fine for theoe with Dark to Darkest Brown, if you want a quick fix. I used this twice over the space 4 months and then went for a full box -No doubt I will use just the touch up kit again lengthening the time in between doing a ‘full colour’
