I bought a pair of cordless hair straighteners to use after gym/swim visits and this silicone pouch mat is just the job!
I lay the Straighteners on it while heating up and cooling down then they fit perfectly inside the pouch to put in my gym bag.
As in most gym changing rooms, the hairdryer isn’t very good so being able to transport straighteners safely is great.

I take this to the gym to keep my Revlon round brush hair dryer and styler in (which I use after showering). I always wash my hair after a Pump class, and while the gym provides hairdryers and hair straighteners, I have to bring my own round brush, which becomes very warm after use. I don’t want to wait for the brush to cool down to put it back in my backpack with the other things inside that I might not want it to have direct contact with, so this pouch is now great for putting the brush away immediately and safely after use so that I can leave the gym as swiftly as possible. My backpack is average size, and this pouch with the heat brush fits fine into the main larger compartment. I have yet to experience any heat-related issues with it (though it’s still in the early days of use) and it works great well for my purpose and my gym routine, so far.
